Kufri Sinduri is a high-yielding potato variety developed by the Central Potato Research Institute (CPRI), Shimla, India. It is specially bred for table use and snack processing, making it suitable for products like chips, tikkis, and samosas.
The tubers are medium-sized, round with light red skin and shallow eyes, and have white, creamy flesh that retains texture after cooking. Kufri Sinduri matures in 110–120 days and is moderately resistant to early blight and some viral diseases. It can tolerate heat and mild water stress, making it adaptable to diverse growing regions.
